ABOUT THE CANCER CENTER FUND OF THE LITCHFIELD HILLS
The Cancer Care Fund of the Litchfield Hills, Inc. (CCFLH) is a not-for-profit organization created to assist and support cancer patients residing or receiving care in northwestern Connecticut. The fund supports cancer patients with care, treatment, education and prevention programs.
The fund began with generous donations by families and patients cared for at The Center for Cancer Care and the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. It is overseen by a Board of Directors that administers the fund and is managed by the Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut.
AWARDS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
to patients for emergencies such as:
- food
- rent
- transportation
- utilities
- medications
- or other needs
